Gellert Tamas is a highly appreciated and sought after lecturer, both in Sweden and internationally. Tamas has given lectures in, among other places, Germany, Hungary, Serbia and the Ukraine. His lectures revolve around issues such as power, racism and xenophobia, structural discrimination and identity policy, frequently taking his books, articles and documentaries as the starting point and source of examples.

Tamas, appointed professor in journalism, also gives lectures and conducts workshops on journalism and literature, and has lectured at universities and schools of journalism on topics such as dramaturgy, research and creative writing.
